About Us

Welcome to the beautiful premier Buckhead Community, situated just 18 miles from Savannah, Georgia along the southeastern coast between the Ogeechee and Tivoli Rivers in Richmond Hill (Bryan County), Georgia. Buckhead is within minutes from the historic Fort McAllister State Park, Fort McAllister marina, downtown City of Richmond Hill and the Ford Plantation (circa 1734) formerly owned by Henry & Clara Ford. As a suburb of Savannah, Georgia’s first city, we are very fortunate to live near the water and several first-class beaches and private islands with natural preserves. Our days are spent enjoying the luxuries of boating along the Ogeechee and Savannah Rivers, visiting the beaches of Tybee Island, Hilton Head Island and St. Simon’s Island and taking a tour of historic downtown Savannah.

The Buckhead Homeowners Association (BHOA) encompasses the seven sub-divisions of: Brighton, Cambridge, Laurenburg, Plantation (Beagram Rd, Dunnyveg Rd, Mingarry Dr, Thurso Ct, Tralee Ct) , Princeton, McLaughlin and Windsong.

Buckhead is part of the Coastal Empire and known as a well-maintained, safe and family-friendly environment with many acres of natural beauty amongst great live oak trees and beautiful natural habitats. Bryan County also features a great school system for our children.

Our covenant protected community includes a wide variety of great amenities such as: swimming pool, community room, basketball courts, baseball/athletic fields, playground areas, walking paths, tennis courts and biweekly electronic newsletter. Living in Buckhead provides us with a first-class lifestyle of luxury, natural beauty and local charm.
